How do I schedule an appointment?
I do not schedule appointments through direct messaging/comments on social media.
On the first day of each month I post an appointment inquiry form on my website to schedule appointments for the following month. I leave the form posted for 1-2 days until I receive about 100 submissions. Of those 100, about 70-80 people will be scheduled.
Scheduling is not first come, first serve. I try to schedule a fair combination of new and returning clients every month.
I usually receive inquiries from more people than I can schedule so please don't be discouraged if you don't get an appointment right away. I always try to make time for as many new and returning clients as possible. I hope you understand this system has been the most effective method I have thought of to schedule people in a fair manner.
I can't find the appointment form on your website, where is it posted?
Use the drop down menu and select either "individual appointment" or "group appointment", if they are not listed on the menu, that means I am not taking requests for appointments at that time.
How do I schedule an appointment for my friend and I to come in on the same day?
There is a group inquiry form available for 2 people wishing to be scheduled together. It is also posted on the first of each month and includes convention and travel dates. Only one form is necessary per group. I can only accommodate up to 4 people in one day.
I am traveling from out of town, can I schedule a few months in advance?
I'm sorry but I can't make any exceptions to the way I do my scheduling. I appreciate all my traveling clients but can't give them priority scheduling over my local clients.
How do I schedule an appointment for a convention or travel date?
Travel date appointments are also scheduled through the inquiry form posted on the first of each month. Travel dates require a $100 deposit to be paid within 48hours of receiving a confirmation email. All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and will be subtracted from the price of your tattoo.
I will only be taking walk ups at upcoming tattoo conventions, no appointments.
Which tattoo conventions will you be working this year?
I will be tattooing my flash designs on walk ups at the following conventions (no appointments):
- Grand Canyon Tattoo Convention - Mesa, Arizona - January
- Salt Lake City Tattoo Convention - SLC, Utah - March
- Imperial Tattoo and Arts Festival - Jacksonville, Florida - April
- Electric City Tattoo Convention - Scranton Pennsylvania - April
Do you take walk ins?
I am unable to take walk ins at this time due to the amount of appointments I have scheduled on a daily basis.
Flash Designs vs. Custom Designs
I have many flash designs that I have drawn over the years that are available to be tattooed. Flash designs are ok to be tattooed identically on multiple people and are great for people who would rather choose a pre-drawn design on the day of their appointment.
Custom designs will be drawn on the day of your appointment after you come in and we discuss the details and placement. Custom designs are not repeated on other people and drawn to your specifications. Custom designs are great for people that have a particular vision in mind for their tattoo.
Do you do cover ups?
I am not taking on any cover ups at this time and I never add on to or touch up other artists' work.
Can I bring a friend with me on the day of my appointment?
I don't mind if you bring one person with you, but due to the small size of my workspace I ask that you don't bring more than one person, and absolutely no babies, kids, or pets please (service animals are ok). I try to create a calm, relaxed environment, the less distractions, the better I can concentrate on your tattoo.
Can I change the design/size/placement of my tattoo after my appointment is scheduled?
I reserve a certain amount of time for you based on the information you provide in the appointment form, so changing design/size/placement may result in me not having enough time booked for you. Please check with me as soon as possible if you want to make any considerable changes. Minor changes on the day of the appointment are ok.
How much will my tattoo cost?
The price of your tattoo will depend on the size, placement, and amount of detail in the design. If you have a set price range you would like to stay within, please include that information in your appointment inquiry.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash & all major Credit Cards.
Do I need to leave a deposit?
I only require deposits for travel dates. All deposits are non-refundable and will be subtracted from the final price of your tattoo.
I do not require a deposit for appointments at Diadem Tattoo, so I ask that you please let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel for any reason. Any person that cancels must go through the inquiry process again to schedule another appointment, no reschedules.
Can I reschedule my appointment?
I do not reschedule appointments, if you cancel you will need to start the booking process over. People that cancel less than 48 hours in advance are less likely to be scheduled in the future.
Can I see my tattoo design before my appointment?
Because I do not take deposits, all drawings are done on the day of your appointment when you come in. When you arrive, I will discuss the details of your design with you, trace the area on your body where the tattoo will go and answer any questions you might have.
Do you tattoo minors?
In the state of Florida it is legal to tattoo 16 and 17 year olds with parent/guardian consent. You MUST fill out a minor tattoo consent form available through the Florida Department of Health, have it notarized, and bring it with you on the day of your appointment. The form is available through the link below. The parent/guardian MUST be present during the ENTIRE tattoo procedure. This does NOT apply to travel dates and tattoo conventions, as tattoo laws vary by state.
